What is a High Pressure Ring Blower?
Under the design conditions, a ring blower with a wind pressure of 30 kPa to 200 kPa or a compression ratio e = 1.3 to 3 falls within the category of high pressure ring blowers. Currently, in the industry, the vacuum pump with an air ring is generally classified as a high pressure ring blower. high pressure ring blowers, also known as high pressure fans or vortex ring blowers, are different from ordinary centrifugal high pressure ring blowers.
Working Principle of High Pressure Ring Blower
When the impeller rotates, due to the centrifugal force, the wind indicator causes the gas to move forward and outward, thus forming a series of spiral movements. The air between the impeller blades accelerates in a spiral manner and pushes the gas outside the pump body (in through the suction port) into the side groove. After entering the side channel, the gas is compressed and then returns to the impeller blades to accelerate again. When the gas travels along a spiral track through the impeller and side groove, each impeller blade increases the compression and acceleration degree. As the rotation progresses, the kinetic energy of the gas increases, causing the pressure of the gas passing through the side channel to further increase. When the gas reaches the connection point between the side groove and the discharge flange (where the side channel narrows at the outlet), it is squeezed out of the blades and discharged through the outlet muffler.

Due to the wide application of high pressure ring blowers, their selection is relatively complex. Generally, it needs to be carried out in the following two steps:
- Need to determine which function of the high pressure ring bloweris used at the site, is suction or blowing, and find the corresponding pressure-flow curve of the high pressure ring blower; if the curve is mistaken, sometimes it will cause the selected product to be unusable;
- Based on the calculated pressure and flow, find the working curve on the curve graph that simultaneously meets the pressure and flow corresponding to the working point; then select the model of the high pressure ring bloweraccording to the working curve;

Installation Considerations for High Pressure Ring Blowers
- Must use flat washers and spring washers to tighten the screws;
- It is best to use rubber buffer gel to bear the weight of the high pressure ring blower, especially for large-power high pressure ring blowers, it is indispensable;
- For some occasions with noise requirements, a muffler can be installed to reduce noise (generally, about 5 dB), the muffler is installed at the end of the inlet or outlet duct;
- For some occasions with very high noise requirements, according to the conditions of the machine itself, adding a layer of sound insulation cotton can meet the noise requirements of the site, specific consultation can be made with the manufacturer of high pressure ring blowers or professional noise control companies; 5. When using the muffling cotton for muffling, pay attention to the distance between the high pressure ring blower and the box, the ventilation and heat dissipation of the high pressure ring blower, and the use of rubber buffer gel to bear the weight of the high pressure ring blower. Regardless of the brand of the high pressure ring blower, two aspects of protection are required: pressure and dust.
For pressure, the commonly used device is the pressure relief valve. It is a relief valve that automatically opens when the pressure used by the high pressure ring blower exceeds the set pressure of the pressure relief valve, thereby releasing the excess pressure and protecting the high pressure ring blower.
For dust, the commonly used device is the filter. Depending on different usage sites, different filter cores with different filtration accuracies are often used. Different filter cores have different maintenance methods and service life. During ordering, it is necessary to ask clearly.
In some special occasions, special protection is also required: for example, when used in a sealed environment, pay attention to ventilation and heat dissipation; when the environmental temperature (the intake temperature is relatively high), pay more attention to ventilation and heat dissipation, or choose a high pressure ring blower with a higher allowable intake temperature (such as a ring-shaped ring blower, which allows the intake temperature to reach 130°);
